We believe that students should engage with the tools of their generation to collaborate, communicate and be the producers of technology and information, not just consumers. At Bilimora International School, we lay due emphasis on different activities through active participation in various social, athletic and artistic clubs and societies. We guide students to discover and create their own understanding. Besides academics, co scholastic activities form an integral part of the school curriculum. This aspect includes wide range of co-curricular activities. A student will be expected to choose any two skills from below mentioned four groups and he/she will be assessed on their level of participation and achievement. A Way of Life! The Life Skills Programme at Bilimora International School consciously equips our students with the skills they need to get through life’s ups and downs with equal ease. The Programme has adopted three skills as its core focus- Thinking Skills, Social Skills and Emotional Skills. Bilimora International School aims to provide a child with a practical and realistic set of skills to increase their personal safety, confidence and ability to communicate and how to assess and avoid potentially dangerous situations. The students actively participate in literary and creative skills at school. This skill includes those activities where students get a chance to learn and exhibit his potential when it comes to Debate, Declamation, Creative Writing, Recitation, Poster Making, Slogan Writing, Theatre etc. After acquiring the skill the student is ready to participate in various inter and intra school competitions. The activities are as follows: The students take keen interest in scientific activities and take the initiative to plan, organize and evaluate various science related events. This skill includes the following activities: The students take initiative in organizing and participating in technology related events e.g. I.T fairs, competitions etc. and takes keen interest in computer related activities. This skill includes the following activities: Our educational visits promote personal, social and emotional development, standing them in good stead to make smooth and trouble-free transitions, whether from Primary to Secondary school, or between later key stages. This fulfils the educational mission set out by the school. Apart from this, BIS is continuously working on bridging the gap between academia and the industry. Industrial Visit is a significant part of our course, during which students visit companies, educational institutions and get insight regarding the internal working environment of an institution.
